"Vabbing" Is The Latest TikTok Trend That Uses Your Own Body Fluid As An Alternative Form Of Perfume
There have been some bizarre TikTok trends over the last year, but the newest one called "vabbing" may be the most bizarre. It's a combination of "vagina" and "dabbing."
When trends generate some traction on TikTok, they take off into the stratosphere and become the thing everyone talks about. Pink sauce is the perfect example of a controversial but wildly popular trend that has transformed into a product sold across the nation. Now the latest TikTok trend is "vabbing," a trend that involves vaginal discharge.
"Vabbing" Is the Latest TikTok Trend That Uses Your Own Body Fluid as an Alternative Form of Perfume
Single women on TikTok have taken on "vabbing," the act of taking your own vaginal discharge and applying it to your body as if it were perfume. Apparently, you take the discharge and apply it to your neck, behind the ears, and wrists in order to use your own pheromones to attract men.
The idea is that mammals, including humans, are subconsciously attracted to one another based on the scents that we emit to one another, and TikTokers are claiming that there's nothing more attractive than the smell of your own vagina.
There are millions of views of videos in which women will talk about the benefits of "vabbing" and how it helped them attract single men when they were out and about. The comment section is a mixed bag. Some people are fascinated by this hack, wishing they knew about it sooner, while others are wishing they didn't pick up their phone.
"Vabbing" isn't a brand new term from TikTok, though. It was first coined by a sex expert and author named Shan Boodram in 2019. "I am certain that every single time I employ it, it makes me feel like an enchanted goddess with a delicious secret," she wrote in her book The Game of Desire.
Some experts claim it's a useless task, though, as it doesn't really make much of a difference on the scent you emit to other people. After all, there are many other factors that are involved in attraction that exist outside of your pheromones. Of course, if you are going to give "vabbing" a try, make sure your hands are clean and you're practicing good hygiene.
