CTV Canadian journalist and reporter Jessica Robb has fueled Covid-19 vaccine fears after suffering a medical episode on air. On January 8, 2022, Robb was outdoors reporting live when she started to slur over her words. "I'm not feeling very well right now," Robb says as she tries to gather herself. Her eyes widen and it looks as though she's about to collapse when the camera goes back to the other host, who tells the audience that they will make sure Robb is doing okay.

The clip has gone viral on Twitter and other social media platforms, sparking rumors that the cause of her medical emergency was due to being vaccinated. "VACCINATION, THE LEADING CAUSES OF COINCIDENCES," was one of the memes that was shared under a post.

"At least Jessica Robb was triple 'vaxxed.' Her stroke on live TV could have been worse. 🙏 #StopTheShots," adds @EfendiMichelle.

@ommashouse writes, "This is so,so sad to watch ! Why didn’t people try harder to find out the truth before they let their bodies be punctured and injected with experimental chemicals. We will be seeing so many more of these all over the world !!"

After the video circulated online, Robb restricted her Twitter account to avoid the onslaught of comments from users. And while the incident did seem alarming, Robb is actually doing fine now, and some people caught wind of her tweet before she went private on the platform. According to the screenshot below, the young journalist is doing okay.

"I won't bury the lede: I'm okay," Robb tweeted. "Thank you to everyone who has reached, my cameraman @Stmcclune for being there for me, & @NahremanIssaCTV for being an absolute pro (as usual)."

CTV Edmonton, the news station that Robb works for, posted an update. "Thanks to everyone who inquired about our reporter who became ill during the 6 p.m. News. Jessica Robb is feeling better and is now resting."

Is Jessica Robb Vaccinated?

Robb has, in fact, been triple vaccinated. "Feeling very lucky to be vaxxed x3 & that I started isolating as soon as symptoms started," she wrote on Facebook back in April, 2022. But this does not necessarily mean that the cause of her episode was due to the vaccine.

In addition, Bell Media Inc., the same company that owns CTV News, announced back in 2021 that they would require all of their employees to be fully vaccinated. The policy was first announced on Linkedin by Bell's President and CEO, Mirko Bibic.

Other Reporters Have Gone Through the Same Thing

Back in 2011, a reporter famously went through the same thing Robb did. CBS2 News reporter Serene Branson stumbled over her words while reporting live outside of the Grammy Awards. She was suffering from a complex migraine that impaired her speech and left her nauseated, symptoms that are similar to that of a stroke. Something as simple as stress and dehydration can cause a complex migraine.

Another TV anchor, Secily Wilson, struggled to formulate her sentences while on air decades ago. Wilson – who was only 31 years old at the time – had suffered a stroke after the broadcast started. It's important to note that both of these incidences occurred many years prior to the release of the mRNA vaccine.

Are People Taking It Too Far?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with questioning the efficacy and the safety of vaccines – this behavior should be encouraged. But when individuals begin to point at every collapse or accident as a cause of the mRNA vaccine, they begin to mirror the same people they mock. Those who heavily fear Covid-19 have a tendency to blame the virus and the unvaccinated over deaths and infections. Meanwhile, the vaccine skeptics are doing the same by blaming every death, collapse, and medical episode over the jab.

The impulsivity to blame all of these things on the mRNA vaccine is not rational, and it doesn't help to change anyone's minds. If anything, it only makes people think that vaccine skeptics are paranoid and crazy. Their key message – that the vaccine can cause severe side effects and is not intended for all bodies – then gets lost and disregarded, which may only hurt more people in the long run. Is this truly what they want?
