What Each Disney Princess’s Favorite Taylor Swift Song Would Be
Two of our favorite things in this world are Taylor Swift and Disney Princesses.

While there are thousands of articles on what Disney Princesses would be like if they lived today, you don’t see many on what type of music they’d listen to. Since we’re positive that all of the princesses would be Swifties, here are our guesses for each of their favorite Taylor Swift songs.
Snow White: “Daylight”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891591-snow-white-wave.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
When you think about it, Snow White goes through a lot in the movie. She’s hunted down by her psychotic stepmother, who asks for her heart in a box (which isn’t weird at all) and deceives her while disguised as an old peasant woman. She’s poisoned and then awakened by true love’s kiss. Snow likely wants a peaceful life with her prince after enduring so much trauma, making “Daylight” the perfect song for her.
Cinderella: “The Very First Night”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891599-cinderella-ballgown-twirling.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
It’s safe to say that Cinderella had a very memorable first date with Prince Charming. She daydreamed about him until he discovered who she was (while dealing with her crazy stepsisters and stepmother), which fits the song's optimism. She’ll likely remember “The Very First Night” for the rest of her life, making this her perfect song.
Aurora: “Enchanted”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891606-aurora-philip-dancing-forest.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Though she first met Prince Phillip in “Once Upon A Dream,” it’s safe to say that she was “Enchanted” to meet him for the first time IRL. The dreamlike aspect and optimism of the song speak to the dreamer that is Aurora’s character, making us obligated to choose this song for her.
Ariel: “Style”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891615-ariel-eric-boat.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Ariel is equal parts hopeless romantic and rebellious. All she wants to do is follow her heart and doesn’t think about the consequences (even though she loves her family) because isn’t that what being a teenager is all about? “Style” perfectly captures how she’s ready to fall head over heels for Prince Eric, and she doesn’t care if it ends in flames. And we kind of love that for her.
Belle: “Love Story”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891629-belle-bookshelves-ladder.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Belle is a romantic and a book lover, so it’s no surprise that her favorite song would be an ode to Romeo and Juliet. “Love Story” is arguably Swift's most timeless song (you might say it’s a tale as old as time), which is fitting because Beauty and the Beast is a timeless love story.
Jasmine: “Wildest Dreams”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891640-jasmine-aladdin-magic-carpet-ride.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
There’s a lot of mystery behind Jasmine’s relationship with Aladdin. Is he the boy from the market? Is he Prince Ali? Is he both? With so much uncertainty in their relationship, “Wildest Dreams” is easily the best song for Jasmine. She’s unsure if their relationship will end, and if things don’t go well, the best she could hope for is that he remembers her in his wildest dreams.
Pocahontas: “Willow”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891652-pocahontus-waving-goodbye.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Pocahontas is deeply connected to nature, particularly her favorite tree, Grandmother Willow. “Willow” is an ode to her love of nature and the elusiveness of her relationship with John Smith (especially with the song’s forbidden love vibes), and we just know that she loves the folksy sound of the song.
Mulan: “Mastermind”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891661-mulan-flower-hair-clip.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Mulan is incredibly brave for impersonating a man to take her father’s place in the Chinese Army, and it took a lot of planning on her part. You could argue that she was deceitful, but the end justifies the means here. From her time in the military to her relationship with Li Shang to saving China from Shan Yu, it’s hard to deny that she’s the “Mastermind” of her world, and we love that for her.
Tiana: “Mean”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891675-tiana-sees-the-frog.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Though Tiana has been dealt an unfair hand in life, she’s determined to make her dreams of opening a restaurant come true. Many underestimate her and are “Mean” to her about it, but she’s determined to succeed with kindness and hard work. When she achieves her dreams, she’ll be living it up while everyone who doubted her will stay bitter.
Rapunzel: “Mine”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891687-rapunzel-boat-lantern.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Rapunzel’s abusive relationship with Mother Gothel has given her a horrible example of what love is, but she still craves a vibrant and healthy life outside her tower. Eugene not only turned her into a rebel, but he brought out the passion in Rapunzel that was dying to come out. “Mine” perfectly describes her relationship with Eugene, from how she was abused by Mother Gothel to how Eugene showed her what real love was.
Merida: “Mad Woman”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891704-merida-removes-her-cloal.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
“Mad Woman” is about a woman who is perceived as crazy for not complying with society’s standards, making this the perfect song for Merida. She’s rebellious and doesn’t care what others think of her — so much so that she wants to fight for her own fate and refuses to marry a man she doesn’t want to. Though she’s not hell-bent on revenge, we have a feeling that Merida would love this song.
Elsa: “Anti Hero”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891716-elsa-the-cold-never-bothered-me-anyways.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
After perceiving herself as a villain due to her powers and accidentally hurting Anna as a child, it’s safe to say that Elsa doesn’t think very highly of herself. She views herself as an “Anti Hero” as she becomes more self-aware, embraces her power, and comes into her own.
Anna: “Fearless”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891724-anna-singing-city.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Anna decides to marry Hans literally five minutes after meeting him, so it’s safe to say that she’s a “Fearless” lover. Though it takes her time to realize that Kristoff is the one and that Hans is (not sorry for the spoiler alert) bad news, this song perfectly encapsulates Anna’s youthful positivity and romanticism.
Moana: “A Place in This World”
![](/_next/image?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.datocms-assets.com%2F109366%2F1698891741-moana-singing-boat-horizon.gif%3Fcrop%3Dfaces%26fit%3Dcrop%26fm%3Dwebp&w=3840&q=75)
Likely one of the strongest coming-of-age stories of the Disney Princess franchise, Moana goes on a quest to save her island and finds herself. She begins the movie as a young girl trying to find “A Place in This World” and finds it through the grand adventure she has always craved, making it the perfect song for her.
Closing Thoughts
Each Disney Princess has her own unique journey, so it only makes sense that each of them would have a different Taylor Swift song that would reflect their stories and relationships. From Moana’s coming-of-age journey to Belle’s love story, each princess has a song that perfectly reflects her story.
