Beloved couple Ashton Kutcher and Mia Kunis first met when they were on the set of That '70s Show, but it wasn't until years later that they started dating. When they were costars in the late 1990s, they played Jackie Burkhart and Michael Kelso, an on-again, off-again couple. Kunis later revealed that Kutcher was actually her very first kiss and she had a crush on him. She was 14 and he was 20 when they first started working together. But they went their separate ways and had very public relationships with other people for years before they got together. Kutcher was married to Demi Moore for several years and Kunis was with her boyfriend Macaulay Culkin for eight years. Both of the breakups happened in 2011.

In early 2012, at the Golden Globes, the couple reunited and soon after started dating. Things were casual at first and they wanted to keep it light and fun, but by April the couple had moved in together. Two years later, they got engaged and announced their first pregnancy in March 2014. One year later, they got married, and in November 2016 they welcomed their second child into the world. For the last 10 years, they have been one of the cutest couples in Hollywood, but what many people don't realize is that they decided a while ago not to leave their children any inheritance.

Why Aston Kutcher and Mila Kunis Decided Not To Leave Their Children Any Inheritance

Reportedly, Kutcher's net worth is $200 million and Kunis' is $75 million. They've both had successful acting careers, as well as successful business endeavors. The couple has always been philanthropic, donating and raising millions of dollars to support Ukrainians who are devastated by the Ukraine Russia war. But even though the couple lives a comfortable, wealthy life, they don't want to pass down anything to their two children, Wyatt and Dimitri. In a 2018 episode of Armchair Expert, a podcast hosted by actor Dax Shepard, Kutcher explained that he and his wife have no plans to leave behind an inheritance to their kids. Not because they don't love them, but because they want them to figure it out for themselves.

"I'm not setting up a trust for them," he said. "We'll end up giving our money away to charity and to various things. Hopefully, they'll be motivated to have what they had, or some version of what they had."

Their children are fortunate enough to have everything they need, plus some, and Kutcher says they don't even realize how lucky they are. "My kids are living a really privileged life, and they don't even know it. And they'll never know it, because this is the only one that they'll know," he continued. "If my kids want to start a business, and they have a good business plan, I’ll invest in it. But they’re not getting trusts."

While this may sound crazy to some people, they're not the only couple who has these kind of plans. Daniel Craig, famous James Bond actor, also has no plans to leave his multi-million dollar inheritance to his children. He would rather give it away to charity or spend it on good causes before passing down the riches to his next generation.

The term "nepo babies" has gained popularity over the last year, highlighting many models or socialites who have gotten famous or rich simply because of their parents' success, such as Hailey Bieber, Lily Rose-Depp, Apple Martin, and the Kardashian kids. They have all benefitted from the exposure their parents received, and it's assumed that they have also get some of the wealth of their parents. But celebs like Kutcher and Kunis have a different game plan for their children.
