Two extremely tall and attractive people met on a random street one day, and sparks flew.
Gabriella Gonzales (Gabby) and Tyler Bergantino are the rom-com couple that we're all too invested in.
For the uninitiated, Bergantino – a 6'9" influencer – uploaded himself interviewing Gonzalez, 6’1″, about her height. In the video, they both revealed that they are each others' ideal height (I'm screaming). As the two chatted away, the audience immediately felt their chemistry. "DID WE JUST WITNESS MATCHMAKING?" asked a user on TikTok.
A woman named Alexandria wrote, "I hope you asked her on a date."
In a second video, the roles are reversed: It's Gonzales' turn to ask questions. We find out that, as fate would have it, both of them are single! Bergantino revealed that women only want to date him for his height, and it's the same for Gonzalez. Because of this, they agree that "heart over height" takes precedence when it comes to their type. The clip ends with Bergantino asking Gonzalez out to get coffee, to which she gleefully agrees.
Only there's an issue... Bergantino lives in Greenville, South Carolina, while Gonzales resides in Miami, Florida. Are we witnessing two people fall for each other in real-time? Can they overcome the distance?
Since we're all nosy, Gonzales records a video of the coffee date. They learned that they both like Star Wars and he's leaving Miami that same day. She offers to take him to the airport, and he looks pleased. They're both giggly, and so am I.
So, Bergantino goes home (sigh), but he sends a gorgeous bouquet of flowers to Gonzalez.
If you thought that was sweet, just wait. Bergantino proceeds to write a sweet song titled "My Intentions" for his new girl, singing, "Beyond all the pressure and attention / Through all the likes and comments and mentions / I want to be crystal clear with my intention / To get you on a flight that's headed straight in my direction." Bergantino was serious, and his latest update is a screenshot of a ticket he purchased for Gonzales to South Carolina. He's a prime example of "If he wanted to, he would!"
