One Woman Shares Her Fart Theory On Why Leonardo DiCaprio Breaks Up With His Girlfriends After They Turn 25, And It Makes Too Much Sense

This year, Leonardo DiCaprio (48) broke the internet after the actor split with his ex, Camila Morrone, just two months after she turned 25. When people noticed the Titanic star had a strange history of breaking up with his past girlfriends after they turned the same age, users spawned endless memes of DiCaprio's preference for younger women. The phenomenon even gained a title known as "Leo's Law." While many of us were left to believe that DiCaprio had some kind of "under 25 rule," one writer – Clare Stephens – shared her theory on The Wolf of Wall Street actor’s dating life. And, honestly, it makes sense!

Let's get one thing out of the way first – DiCaprio and Gigi are reportedly dating, and she's actually 27. This means DiCaprio doesn't actually have an age limit. "And so clearly he's gone out with some elderly women [Gigi]," the TikToker, Clare Stephens, wittingly says.

Young Leonardo DiCaprio Was a Prankster

"I have a very different theory," shares Stephens in her viral video. She tells a story about DiCaprio and his co-star, Kate Winslet, on the set of Titanic. "According to the director and their co-star, apparently Leonardo would fart in his coat and then, like, put it over Kate Winslet, engulfing her in the fart."

She adds, "And she thought it was very funny, at the time. And they laughed and laughed." But DiCaprio didn't stop there. He allegedly would gross Winslet out with his other bodily functions and would flip his eyelids. "He loved those jokes," explains Stephens.

However, Winslet wasn’t the only actress DiCaprio gave the “ick” to. There was also Claire Danes, his Romeo and Juliet co-star. Danes, who was only 17 at the time, was four years younger than DiCaprio. Despite the chemistry you saw between them on screen, their relationship in real life was anything but romantic. "Apparently, they didn't get along," says Stephens, "and the rumor was that it was because she thought he was immature, and he thought that she was uptight."

Hilariously, she adds, "I believe in my soul that he did try to fart and that Claire Danes – even at 17 – was like, 'no. no, this isn't… I'm not into the farting while doing Shakespeare.'" 

However, these movies were from 1996 and 1997, when Leonardo DiCaprio was fresh in his 20s. Is it possible that he’s matured? Stephens doesn’t think so, and neither does her audience. "He still loves farts," the TikToker says.

She continues, "Earlier this year, the cast of Don't Look Up were doing press for the movie. And in the middle of an interview with the whole cast, there's a fart noise." The whole cast turned to look at DiCaprio after they heard the disturbing noise, as though they all knew it was him, even though it wasn’t.

"Leo's immediately hysterical," states Stephens. "He explains that his good friend, Jonah, has bought a fart machine. The interview is essentially over because Leonardo DiCaprio cannot stop laughing." Jonah's prank caused the cast of Don't Look Up to laugh while DiCaprio completely lost it. "He's so happy. He thinks it's so funny, the fart machine,” she adds. “What's funny is that Jonah Hill himself did say that the fart machine would be funny to like, a 6-year-old."

So, if you’ve made it this far, you can probably guess what the TikToker’s theory is. "My theory is this: Leonardo DiCaprio does not dump women when they turn 25," Stephens says in her concluding statement. "Women over the age of 25 no longer find farts funny and cannot be in a relationship with him. They're like, 'So, you need to get your bowels sorted, and I'm busy.'"

Many have agreed with Stephen's beliefs about DiCaprio and his love for farts. "They always say you stay the age you became famous at. So he's like a 15 year old in his head," says @7teague.

"Leo invites dates to Star Wars marathons while he plays lightsabers with Jonah Hill💀,” says @thedamonadamos, “he can't be dating women in their 40s doing this nahhh😭."
