Zayn Malik Tried Using Tinder But Was Accused Of Catfishing
The girls on Tinder missed a date with Zayn Malik because they thought he was a catfish.

Former One Direction member Zayn Malik is opening up about his dating woes.
According to the "Love Like This" singer, he dabbled with Tinder at his new home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Naturally, the girls on the dating app had suspicions – there's no way the Zayn Malik would be on Tinder or in a rural part of America.
“It’s not been too successful for me, I’ll be honest. Everyone accused me of catfishing. They’re like, ‘What are you using Zayn Malik’s pictures for?’ I’ve been kicked off once or twice,” he said in an interview with Nylon. Could you imagine matching with Malik only to report him because you thought he was catfishing? I bet the girls he swiped on are kicking and punching the air at this moment.
However, he’s no longer attempting to meet people on apps anymore. In fact, the singer is not trying to meet anyone at all. I suppose Malik has reached samadhi or enlightenment in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania and no longer desires a partner, at least not right now. “I’m really content and happy with being single for the first time in my life,” he said.
Considering Malik's tumultuous romances, it makes sense why he wants to take a break. “From 17 to 21, I was in a relationship. I was engaged and [planned to get] married and I didn’t know anything about anything at that point,” he added. “I thought I did, because I was 21. I was legally allowed to do everything, but I didn’t know sh*t.”
At the beginning of his career, Malik began dating Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, only to end his engagement with her in 2015. A year later, he began his on-and-off relationship with model Gigi Hadid. “From 21 to 27, I was with Gi, and we had a kid, and I didn’t really take much time to get to know myself,” Malik said. Their daughter, Khai, was 1 year old by the time the two broke up in late 2021.
“I lived a very chill life in Bradford. I never really had a girlfriend. My parents were kind of old-school, so I never brought a girlfriend home or anything,” he later revealed. “When I got the chance to do that, I jumped straight in, two feet first, and was like, ‘I'm going to have a girlfriend, and she’s going to live with me. This makes me a grown man.’”
Malik is not in a hurry anymore, and he's taking it slow when it comes to finding the love of his life. “It’s probably wise to take your time before you fully invest in another human being as a lifelong partner,” he added. As for Khai, he only has her 50% of the time and wishes he could be with her more. “I only have my daughter 50% of the time. I would have her 90% if I could,” he said. “We go see Disney on Ice, or we go see the Nickelodeon theme park. Or we go to the beach. That’s how I get out.”
For the most part, Malik is at home enjoying the peace and quiet. There, on his acres of land that apparently give off "Evil Dead vibes," are chickens, dogs, cats, and turtles. He originally had four turtles, but now there are only two. “Which is sad, but that’s life,” Zayn told Nylon plainly. “Things live and die. And you’re very aware of that on the farm. You see death quite a lot. You also see a lot of life. You see a lot of things blossoming.”
